I've wanted a horse since I was a little girl. My dream horse Daenerys found her way into my heart in 2012 but sadly left in 2025. This adventure still continues with Chance my grumpy old Arabian gelding who came into my life when we first moved to NC in 2015 and now my Kentucky Mountain horse Seamus who entered my life in 2023.
This is the story of my continuing adventure in the world of horses in my backyard.
I'm dealing with an arthritic neck and possibly a pinched nerve, MRI next week, so wasn't really up to being fully hands on with our bees. Still very excited!
Holy jeez... Yep, just watching you handle them gives me the shivers! What a chicken, eh? There is a bee place about 3 miles from here - I'm happy to buy their honey and beeswax for candles, but I just. cannot. even.
