No one could ever claim my mare is starving...
I've wanted a horse since I was a little girl. My dream horse Daenerys found her way into my heart in 2012 but sadly left in 2025. This adventure still continues with Chance my grumpy old Arabian gelding who came into my life when we first moved to NC in 2015 and now my Kentucky Mountain horse Seamus who entered my life in 2023. This is the story of my continuing adventure in the world of horses in my backyard.

A barrel full of hay = every horse's dream! lol She seems quite pleased.
I do want to say that it was just placed there for the moment while hay piles were set out for the herd, she eventually was sharing a pile with her beloved Rock!
